Chocolate chip butter bites, so scrumptious and yummy. They are made with my favorite ingredients: butter, cream cheese, chocolate chips and Heath English Toffee Bits, oohh did I mention Heath English Toffee Bits, they are my favorite. You will love these bars, so easy to make, you can put the ingredients together in about 15 minutes and then just put them in the oven and bake’em.
Delicious down to every crumb!
Chocolate Chip Butter Bites
Directions
1 yellow cake mix
4 tablespoons melted butter
2 eggs
8 ounces of cream cheese
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup of heath English Toffee chips or add another 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
1 pound of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In large bowl mix together yellow cake mix and melted butter. Mix in chocolate chips and Heat English Toffee Bits.
Lay parchment paper in 9x13 pan or grease pan well. Pat the cake and melted butter mixture in to the 9x13 pan.
In separate bowl mix together 2 eggs, powdered sugar, cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, mix well with a mixer, until smooth. Pour into 9 x 11 pan, over the yellow cake mixture.
Bake in pre-heated 375 degree oven for 35-40 minutes, until edges start to turn brown.
Optional substitute the 1/2 cup of Heath Toffee chips for another 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
